After an initial call about the original brand, it became clear the lightning bolt in the ‘R’ was doing the opposite of what a security company needs. The word security felt secondary to Crome, and the ‘R’ looked like it was attacking the ‘S’. Not ideal when you want people to feel safe.

Through further conversations, we discovered the Southern Cross star from the Australian flag meant a great deal to the client. Combined with the five-star service they’d delivered for over two decades, it became a natural foundation for the new identity.

The name Crome now sits above Security, emphasising the strength of both together. Bold, professional, trustworthy, but flexible enough to work across every channel.

By working closely with the client throughout, we retained the colour equity they’d built while elevating the brand to sit alongside the bigger players in their region
